Finally!

As shown in the picture above, our team were managed to win the

3rd place (2nd Runner Up) for Automatic Transmission Category

Perodua Eco-Challenge 2010

Congratulations to all UTP PEC 2010 team members.

May next year will give us more luck. :D

UTP was 3rd in A/T category (29.8km). Running beside is UniKL-MFI, who finished 5th in M/T category. (as in Autoworld.com.my)

Colour

1. UTP PEC Car are designed to meet our main theme which is TRANSFORMATION.

2. The original colour of Midnight Blue, a very dark blue which symbolize the earth. Our mother nature that is being slowly destroyed by the human beings.

3. This colour is replaced by the Lime Green, colour of the nature which are seen as tranquil and refreshing.

4. This change of colour presents by the tear potrays the TRANSFORMATION of the car towards an eco-friendly car, a fuel efficient vehicle which emits less exhaust thus reducing environmental effects.

Objects

1. In the design, we highlighted on The Phoenix which represents rebirth or new beginning. This is to potrays the rebirth and transformation of the car to an eco-friendly car.

2. The Phoenix also represent forward movement which it flies far ahead to the front, always scanning the landscape and distant. These represent our capacity for vision, for collecting sensory information about our environment and the events ulfolding within it.

3. The Phoenix is also chosen, due to it long-liveness, which clearly to show how far and how long the car can goes with only 1 litre of fuel.

UTP PEC Family Day

As committees, all of us need to went back to UTP as early as 13th June 2010.

Therefore, to let the committee to have at least one day off, the management decided to held a Family Day for all the committees. Here are some of the pictures taken during the family day.

The car has been modified (almost fully). Tomssticker already came to UTP on 7th June 2010.

We are now counting days to the final stage. The day of the event themselves. Can't wait!

Melaka International Motorsport Circuit

Greetings to all..

(MIMC) MELAKA INTERNATINAL MOTORSPORTS CIRCUIT is the largest go kart 1.6 km track on the south east ASIA. MIMC is The Malaysian 2nd Internatinal Standard Status Circuit after S.I.C Sepang. Here are some pictures of MIMC the venue for our final race day.
